Safety & Care

Candles

  • Remove all packaging and discard before burning.

  • When lighting for the 1st time allow candle to burn for at least 2-3 hrs or until wax melts across the entire surface to the sides of the vessel to prevent uneven burning and tunneling for the duration of the candle.

  • Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before relighting as this helps prevent the flame from becoming too high, promotes an even burn, steady flame and limits sooting/mushrooming of the wick.

  • ALWAYS BURN CANDLES WITHIN SIGHT, NEVER BURN WHILE SLEEPING.

  • If soot forms inside of your vessel, IMMEDIATELY extinguish candle, let it cool, wipe with a clean damp towel. Trim wick, then relight.

  • Keep wax pool free of debris, matches and wick trimmings.

  • NEVER burn a candle for more than 4 hrs at a time.

  • NEVER leave a burning candle unattended or use as a night light.

  • STOP burning candle when you have 1/4-1/2 in of wax remaining as vessel may break.

  • Keep lit candles away from flammable objects, drafts, debris, ceiling fans, children and pets.

  • DO NOT touch or move candle once its lit.

  • Place burning candles at least 3 inches apart when burning multiple candles.

  • EXTINGUISH your candle if it flickers, smokes or flame becomes too high as this indicates the candle is not burning properly and flame isn't controlled

  • Always store candles in a cool, dark, dry place avoiding direct sunlight or harsh indoor lighting.

  • NEVER extinguish candle with water as it can cause wax to splatter and glass to break.

NOTE: tealights should only be burned in appropriate holder and on a heat resistant non-combustible surface .

WARNING: Failure to follow these tips may result in a poorly scented burning candle, injury, fire or smoke damage.

Wax Melts

  • Remove all packaging before burning.

  • Always place your warmer/burner on a safe stable surface away from drafts , debris, children, pets and anything flammable.

  • Place 1-2 wax melts on top of a clean dry warmer/burner. NEVER add water.

  • Light a tealight candle in the base of the warmer/burner and allow wax to melt filling room with a delightful aroma.

  • NEVER leave tealights burning unattended. Always extinguish when leaving room.

  • If using an electric burner ALWAYS remember to shut off or unplug when not in use.

  • After extinguishing flame Soy wax will cool  and solidify. You can re-use the melt until it no longer gives off a scent or remove and use another melt.

  • Melts can be used without burning by using them as natural air fresheners. Place on aluminum foil or paper and place on bathroom counters, in cupboards or drawers and etc.

  • DO NOT leave melts exposed to high heat temperatures as it will cause them to melt.

  • When removing wax from warmer/burner NEVER rinse wax down the drain as it will solidify and clog it.

NOTE: wax will not evaporate, the scent will only dissipate. Be sure to remove used wax from warmer/burner before adding more melts.
